With over 30 years of experience, Christine Traina is known throughout the real estate community and sought after by clients and colleagues for her unparalleled expertise in retail, commercial and investment real estate. An Associate Real Estate Broker with the John Lawrence Team and a valued member of Douglas Elliman's exclusive retail and commercial real estate team, Christine has earned strong recognition across the industry. Since joining Douglas Elliman, Christine has built a strong niche by cultivating referrals from residential agents across the company. Her exceptional network of clients and landlords has enabled her to close more than $150 million dollars of real estate transactions.

Christine understands the intense level of commitment and knowledge an expert retail or commercial broker must have in order to successfully negotiate sales and rentals with International and Domestic Companies. She has completed transactions with a wide diversity of American-based firms and major clients around the world, including Cable Television Network, Lyoness US Inc., Sequins, Storebound, The Ross Center, Lucky Zone, Yakima Oil Trading, Just Salad, ALC Companies, Zamore Entertainment, Sam and Lex Boutique, 2b Management, Elegance in Hardware and Universal Standard, to name a few. Christine has also taken new companies like The Fhitting Room through the expansion process, securing their first location years ago and helping them expand to a number of locations which enabled them to sell their company to a larger fitness entity.
In her tenure, Christine has been involved in all aspects of commercial real estate, from the marketing, sale and purchasing of office, retail and investment properties to office and retail condo sales, as well as tenant and landlord representation. She successfully negotiated the sale of many commercial properties, with 315 West 35th Street and over 12,600 square feet of space at 257 West 39th among them. Also most notable was her skillful negotiation of the sale lease-back of the 40,000 SF bank-owned commercial building at 1511 Third Ave and the sale of the Retail Condo at 212 Fifth Avenue, which encompassed the entire block front which sold for $26,500,000 Christine is the Exclusive Agent for the leasing at 78 Fifth Avenue and 210 Fifth Avenue which are both Commercial Loft Buildings. Christine transitioned seamlessly to retail or commercial brokerage after an illustrious career in fashion and retail working at Neiman Marcus, producing shows for renowned designers (Valentino, Bill Blass, Calvin Klein, Galanos, etc.) and managing retail boutiques. She lives in Midtown Manhattan on the Westside, has served on the committee for the AHRC NYC Foundation, and is involved with REBNY committees, which include the retail, commercial and development committees.
